Stair nosing made from your own flooring

A stair nosing caps the front edge of a step where your floor stops. Ours are made from the composite, vinyl plank, laminate or wood flooring supplied for your project.

Choose stair nosing when

• Your flooring already covers the stair tread and only the front edge needs finishing.
• You are laying plank flooring down a stair run and each step edge needs capping in the same material.
• You are retrofitting over an existing tread that is sound and staying in place.
• The stair is enclosed on both sides, so no mitered return is needed.

What to measure

• Flooring brand, product or collection, and the color name or SKU from the box label.
• Plank length, width and thickness from a loose plank.
• Number of stairs, including any landing edge that needs a nosing.
• Each stair width measured individually, because older stairs commonly vary.

• Length ranges: up to 48 inches, 48 to 60 inches, 60 to 72 inches, plus custom length quoted per project.
• Stair parts are manufactured in Columbia Falls, Montana and shipped to customers across the United States. Freight cost and timing are confirmed in your written quote for each project.
